1. Who we are

buffait.ai is operated by 3LT LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as BuffAIt. “3LT LLC,” “we,” “us,” and “BuffAIt” refer to the same entity in this policy. Contact us at hello@buffait.ai with any questions about this policy or your information.

2. What we collect

We collect information in two ways:

• Information you submit through our contact form. When you submit the contact form, we receive the fields you fill in: name, email, company, role, reason for reaching out, and a brief description of your inquiry. The form also records, where available, how you reached us: the campaign or referral parameters in the link you followed (such as utm_source or ref), the website that referred you, and the page you first visited. We send you a one-time automatic confirmation email at the address you provide.
• Analytics information. If you accept analytics cookies via the consent banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect standard usage information (pages visited, session duration, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser characteristics). If you decline, no analytics scripts load and no analytics cookies are set.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16, and this website is not directed to them. Please do not submit confidential, sensitive personal, regulated, or legally privileged information through our forms.

3. How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and evaluate potential engagement.
• To operate and improve buffait.ai and understand which content is useful.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your information. We do not use form submissions to train or fine-tune any AI model.

4. Who processes it on our behalf

Our service providers include:

• Resend, which delivers contact-form submissions to our team. Resend privacy policy.
• Netlify, which hosts the website and processes website requests. Netlify privacy policy.
• Google Analytics, which processes site-usage information only if you consent to analytics. Google privacy policy.

GitHub hosts the website’s source code and does not receive contact-form content.

5. Local storage and cookies

We use browser storage and, with your consent, analytics cookies:

• Consent decision. When you accept or decline the analytics banner, we store your decision in your browser (localStorage). This keeps the banner from reappearing on every visit. It contains no personal information.
• Visit source.If you accept analytics, we keep the campaign or referral details described above in your browser’s session storage while your tab is open, so they can accompany a message you send. It is cleared when you close the tab or decline analytics, and it is shared with us only if you submit the contact form.
• Analytics. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your analytics preference at any time through the Cookie preferences link in the website footer.

6. How long we keep it

Form submissions are retained in our email systems for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your inquiry, and then according to our internal retention practices (currently up to 24 months from last contact). User-level and event-level analytics data is configured for retention for up to 14 months. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

7. Your choices

You may:

• Decline analytics on the consent banner at any time.
• Ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
• Ask us not to contact you further.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@buffait.ai. We will respond within a reasonable time and, where required, within the timelines set by applicable law.

8. Security

Form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS. Access to submitted information is limited to BuffAIt personnel who need it to respond to inquiries. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
